On Saturday, March 19, the United States and the UK begun air assaults on Libyan military strongholds. The U.S. is keeping it's word that if Qaddafi continued to fire upon his people and mobilize his military, there would be consequences.
"I believe we should not stand aside while this dictator murders his own people," said England's Prime Minister David Cameron.
A U.S. official said that since Qaddafi has failed to adhere to the law imposed by the United Nations and President Obama, they had no choice but to resort to military measures.
