Police Impersonator Arrested for Demanding "Rub Down"

A man walked into a massage parlor and allegedly told the masseuse that he was an officer and was conducting an investigation of a complaint there. Edward Justin LaPorte, 47, a former police officer from Illinois, conducted his "investigation".

After he finished his investigation, Orange County prosecutors say he began to complain of a back pain and a masseuse gave the man a back massage. When LaPorte asked for a "frontal rub down", the masseuse refused and called the authorities after the man demanded she pay him $200.

The man was arrested for impersonating a police officer and firearm violations.
