Tea Party protest Muslim organization raising money in O.C.

ANAHEIM, CA, 3/2/11) -- The Greater Los Angeles Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA) today released a video of a rally organized by anti-Muslim bigots to protest a February fundraising event held by an American Muslim relief group for relief work and charity in the U.S.

This video shows how ignorant people can be. Muslim members of the community banded together in an effort to raise money for single mothers and for the homeless. As soon as a local Tea Party group called "We surround them O.C. 912" heard about this, about 100 protesters were collected and protested the fundraiser. They saw the word Muslim in the event and immediatley tried to associate it with terrorism and a push for Sharia law, which is clearly what the organization was not trying to do.

There were full grown adults boo'ing, hissing and harassing men, women and children, young and old, without any remorse. Protestor Steven Amundson said, "I'ts not right for terrorism to come to Yorba Linda. I always stress the need to be peaceful and positive." In the video, what he said can be thrown out the window. 

The more times I watch this video, it never amazes me how ignorant and ill-informed people can be.
