Javier Sicilia, the Mexican poet whose son was murdered just one year ago, founded Mexico’s Movement for Peace with Justice and Dignity (MPJD) and will lead an upcoming caravan this summer, from San Diego to Washington, DC. During April and May, prior to the caravan, Sicilia will speak in cities across the US about why we need to build an international movement to end the war for prohibition, stop southbound gun smuggling, and reverse the alarming militarization of North America.
