KFBK - A man has been found guilty of a 2012 hit-and-run crash in Carmichael that killed one person, injured another and left four dogs dead.
The incident happened the evening of July 16, 2012 when Harrison Long-Randall was walking with his girlfriend, Gemily West, and their four dogs.
A car traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into them. A Sacramento Superior Court jury this afternoon found 32-year-old Paul Walden guilty.

Prosecutors said he was high on heroin at the time of the accident. Long-Randall's leg was severed and he died at a hospital a few days later. All four dogs were also killed. The defense attorney claims Walden was sober and just dozed off during the accident.
