Mom Tries to Kill Children In Fear of Rapture
Personal Note:
When I heard this story, at first I didn't believe it but when I read this story, this seriously made me so angry. I never thought I would be surprised by the stupidity of people, but this honestly shocked, surprised and disgusted me. Religious nuts like this make me sick. There is much more I would like to say but would not be suitable, even for the internet.

Mother Crashes in River, Killing Her 3 Children
In New York, police say that a mother of four children crashed her minivan into the Hudson River on purpose to commit suicide and kill her children. Her oldest son, 10, was able to escape from the sinking car and was picked up by a passer-by and taken to the nearest hospital. The child had a mild case of hypothermia but is expected to make a full recovery. 
Helicopters looked for the van for over an hour when they finally found it in murky water according to CNN. When police divers went in the river, they discovered the mother's body along with her 11-month old, 2 year old and 5 year old children. When police arrived, the minivan was completely submerged in the water.
A relative called the police saying there might have been a domestic dispute between the woman and her husband before the incident. Police are still investigating what occurred and an autopsy will be performed Wednesday.

According to The Daily Caller, the 10-year-old boy who survived told police what he saw and heard. He said his mom accelerated into the river and said if she was going to die "you're all going to die with me." She then climbed to the back seat and held her children.
After the oldest boy tried to escape though, he says his mom must have had a realization of what she was doing. She allegedly said she had made a mistake and jumped into the drivers seat, trying to back the car out of the river but it was too late.
The boy told her mom he was going to get help and his mom responded "ok". That was the last time he saw his mother. The man who found the young child said he was "very brave" for what he had just gone through.
