"He was like a Prisoner at the compound"

According to Fox News, when Navy SEALS raided Osama bin Laden's compound, they acquired information from flash drives and computers, but another source of information was also recovered. bin Laden's personal journal is in the  hands of U.S. officials and is being meticulously dissected.

A U.S. official said the hand-written journal contained terrorist attacks and "aspirational" plots. An official said it wasn't a surprise that bin Laden had written ideas, target and ways to execute his terror plots.

According to U.S. intelligence, Osama never left the compound after he arrived there in 2005. Sources told Fox News occasionally, he would walk around inside the security walls but all necessities were brought in by trusted couriers.

"He was like a prisoner at the compound," an official said.
