Viral video of 4-year-old blind boy taking first steps off curb, raises awareness for LCA.

Gavin Stevens, was born with a very rare genetic retina condition called Leber's Congenital Amaurosis (LCA). There is no cure, yet. Research is promising, and reminds us to move forward with fundraising for a cure. There are only 150 individuals in the United States with this genetic mutation condition. I spoke with Gavin's mother, Jennifer Stevens.
