The body found by sheriff officials in the Angeles National Forest has been confirmed to be that of a teen missing since New Years.
19-year old Sarah Alarid was last seen leaving a New Year’s Party around three in the morning.
Homicide bureau Lt. Dave Dolson says Sheriff Helicopters spotted the wrecked car down a steep ravine – more than 3-hundred-and 50 feet deep.
The girl’s uncle, Brian Alarid says Sarah was familiar with the area.
Although no foul play is believed to be involved – Lt. Dolson says alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
