According to ABC News, a beauty pageant mom gave her eight year old daughter Botox to get rid of her wrinkles.
Kerry Campbell said on "Good Morning America" she gave her daughter the drug after she "asked for the Botox herself." The mother of her beauty pageant daughter said she got the idea from other pageant moms.
This has caused a lot of controversy and after receiving many calls from concerned people, authorities started looking into the matter. What the mom is doing is being looked into as possible child abuse.
In a report done by ABC News, the girl told reporters, "It hurts but I get used to it." She said she likes the way the Botox makes her look. Kerry said she personally administers the Botox in a total of five shots in three different places on her face.
Doctors interviewed said there is potential for permanent and psychological damage but the mother claims it doesn't hurt anyone.
