Police Seek Information Regarding Shooting Death of Stockton Man

KFBK - A man in his 50s was killed this weekend and Stockton police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect.

The unidentified 52-year-old man was found in a car parked in the street near Lafayette and Union streets around 12:50 Saturday morning.

Stockton Police officer Joe Silva says the man was found after someone exited a nearby bar. "They saw a man who was shot inside his vehicle ... so they called 911," Silva said. 

When officers arrived to the scene, they took the wounded man to an area hospital where he later died.

Homicide detectives are investigating the case. They're asking anyone with information to call Stockton police at 209-937-8377.
